24-Hour Emergency Department

The emergency department at Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is ready to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our ER is a paramedic receiving station and has an emergency-trained physician on duty around the clock, along with a team of highly trained specialists. For cardiac and respiratory problems, our caring emergency department staff is certified for advanced and pediatric advanced life support. We also have many certified emergency nurses, along with some of the latest medical equipment. We offer quality care, when you need it. Foreign language interpreter services are also available if needed.

Maternity Care

Maternal-Child Services at Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center practices a family-centered approach to childbirth. We encourage husbands, siblings and grandparents to participate in the wonderful experience of birth. We offer 12 Labor-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) rooms, which allow the mother to stay in one room throughout the birthing experience, and two dedicated Cesarean-section rooms. In addition to our LDR rooms, Garden Grove Hospital also has a Level II Special Care Newborn Nursery Unit to provide care for premature babies and newborns with special medical needs.
